I am Adithya Abeywickrama, a student at Flinders university. I am currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Psychology (honours). My love for psychology started with a simple book: ‘Tell me your dreams’, by Sydney Sheldon. Though I knew the notion of mental health was exaggerated in the book, it started a spark. That’s why I chose a career in psychology. My career aim is to become a psychologist and raise awareness of mental health and its importance in my home country, Sri Lanka.
